Meet the Doctor

Dr. Olivia Do

Dr. Do completed her residency at The University of Missouri School of Optometry in St. Louis. Here she worked closely with the clinical faculty in the area of Anterior Segment Disease Diagnosis and Treatment, in addition to the fitting of specialized contact lenses for eye conditions including dry eyes, irregular cornea and orthokeratology.

After completing her residency training in 2009, Olivia moved back to her hometown of Toronto to practice for two years before rejoining her husband in California.

Dr. Do has previously held the position as an Assistant Professor at The Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University in Fullerton. She also has experience working in a private ophthalmology practice in Newport Beach, California.

Dr. Olivia Do is a Fellow of The American Academy of Optometry and a Diplomate of The American Board of Optometry. She stays current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care and regularly attends continuing education seminars and advanced training courses. It is because of Dr. Do’s dedication to continuing education that our patients receive the most modern and progressive vision care available.

As a licensed optometrist, Dr. Do provides comprehensive eye exams, diagnoses, and treatments of all disorders that affect the eye or vision. With this background, Dr. Do is trained to recognize a range of health issues; such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes and hypertension.

Amongst the beautiful coastal scenery, warm and friendly residents, Olivia and her husband Victor decided that La Jolla was a perfect place to raise their family.
